tea and biscuitsPosted by nari Fri, September 03, 2010 05:03:58 Objective: Imagine you are the manager of a company. You need to introduce a new empowering program to your employees. Write a speech explaining the benefits of the program you choose for your employees and company. __________________________________________________
My Speech: _________
Every dream, every good deed, every new invention begins with one basic thought; to better or improve.
This company not only produces products made entirely of recycled materials, but as we expand we provide more job opportunities in todays difficult economy.
We're about making steps to further extinguish the ecological footprints our grandfathers and fathers unknowingly left behind. We're about creating and maintaining a safe environment not only in our workplace, but in our own backyards as well.
And now with the help of this new daycare program, working parents wont have to fret about whether their children will be safe while they're out working hard to provide for them.
On-site daycare will allow working parents to keep their children close and well-cared for during work hours.
The program is free for parents who work shifts of five hours or less.
Because we will need to provide the children with food and drink,
parents who's children stay during designated meal times will be
charged a small fee.
It is our hope that the newly-implemented
on-site daycare program will provide families with some much needed
relief and security, while also improving the attendance and
productivity of the company.
We thank you all for embracing this
change for the better, and for acknowledging it as one more step in the
right direction.

tea and biscuitsPosted by nari Wed, June 09, 2010 23:08:01 Love. Is it a blessing or a curse? Love is life's most fatal
gift and most beautiful curse. We can run from it, we can use one of
our many masks in an attempt to hide from it, we can deny its very
existance.... or we can fall into its warm embrace, helpless, with no
armor to protect us. Experience will tell us how to predict the outcome
yet we go on, preferring to be blind than to see the truth. Because the
truth is.... Love is like a drug. once the effects start to wear off,
the pain comes flooding back in.
Im not sure whats happening and i honestly feel helpless, this silence is so deafening and im surely falling breathless, what will become of me tonight? i know that i cannot take flight without the help of someone else I'll feel the sting of acquiesce. Caving in and carving out memories that tear me apart. It's hard to keep my grip on reality when all i think about now is defeat... It's not by choice... I have no voice.
